Requirements for Equivalence
To apply for an equivalence assessment, applicants are required to provide the following documents:
1. Completed Equivalence Application Form
The application form must be properly filled out with accurate details of the applicant’s academic qualifications.
2. Proof of Institutional Recognition
A valid document confirming that the awarding institution is officially recognized or accredited by the relevant authority.
3. Academic Documents (Originals & Transcripts)
Original transcripts, diplomas, or certificates covering the complete course of study (Grades 9–12). Original certificates are returned after verification, while transcripts may be retained for record purposes.
4. Certified Translations (If Required)
If documents are issued in a language other than English or Urdu, certified translations from the concerned embassy or NUML must be submitted.
5. Curriculum or Syllabus
A copy of the course syllabus may be required, especially for newly introduced qualifications or subjects, to evaluate the academic structure.
6. Identity Documents
For foreign qualifications, a copy of the passport, visa details, and entry/exit stamps is required. Pakistani applicants must provide a CNIC or Form B.
7. Additional Documentation
IBCC may request further documents depending on the nature of the qualification.
